....................Abruzzo Traditional Cuisine Workshops
In order to organize a workshop we need a minimum of 5 participants. Based on your eno-gastronomic knowledge, it's possible to organize one to one sessions. Children and teenagers are welcome, they'll be involved in making pizza, bread, biscuits etc.

 

The Festive Cuisine
The course objective consists in the preparation of some special traditional dishes usually made around Easter and Christmas in the Teramo province, like
· Scrippelle Mbusse - Layers of very thin crepes rolled with the very best of regional grated pecorino cheese dipped into chicken broth.
· Timballo Teramano - Typical local lasagne, made with paper thin pancakes instead of the traditional pasta, and filled with all kinds of delicious ingredients.
· Mazzarelle - a famous and unique delicacy: parts of the lamb's intestine rolled and cooked with vegetables and aromatic herbs.
· Agnello Cacio & Ove - regional mountain lamb cooked in a sauce made with grated cheese, eggs and lemon juice.

Full Course: 3 Sessions from 4pm. until 9pm. -Total fee €150.00 - One session €60.00

The so Called "Poor Dishes"
The base of the great Italian and Abruzzese cooking tradition: using high quality but inexpensive ingredients such as wild vegetables, fresh cheese and non prime cuts of local meats are the secret for success when making of delicious dishes like

· Polpette di ricotta - Ricotta" meat" balls
· Zuppe Di Verdure e Cereali - Cereals and Vegetables soups.
· Uovo in Purgatorio - Eggs with peppers and tomatoes.
· Frittata di Trippa - Omelette made with tripe strips, cooked in tomatoes and thyme sauce.
Full Course: 3 Sessions from 4pm. until 9pm. -Total fee €150.00 - One session €60.00

The Marine Cuisine
Learn how to prepare a range of fish from the Adriatic sea in the most enjoyable and simplified ways of cooking. Participants will receive tips on each type of fish and dish, and will be shown the best natural cooking methods to enhance the top organoleptic quality in the fish - freshly caught from Giulianova's harbour!
Full Course: 3 sessions from 4pm. until 9 pm. Total fee €165.00 - One session €65.00

An Introduction To Abruzzo Olive Oil, Wines, and Cheeses
During this mini-course we will explain you the organoleptic characteristics of each product. The participants will taste high quality local olive oils with home made bread, traditional regional cheeses and a full range of local wines.
